At Thrive Together Aberdeen, we don't just offer care - we create opportunities to connect, grow, and belong’
Our mission:
Our mission is to enrich the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing compassionate, person-centred social activties that promotes independence, social connections and meaningful engagement in a safe supportive environment.
Welcome to Thrive Together Aberdeen C.I.C.
Thrive Together Aberdeen C.I.C. was previously known as Thrive Together Support. As we have grown, expanded our facilities, and formalised our Community Interest Company status, our new name reflects both our development and our long-term commitment to serving the wider Aberdeen community.
Based at Silverburn Lodge in Bridge of Don, we offer a safe, welcoming, home-from-home environment where individuals can learn new skills, build confidence, form meaningful friendships, and enjoy purposeful daily experiences.
As a C.I.C., we reinvest any surplus directly back into our services, activities, and facilities — ensuring our focus always remains on community impact, not private profit.
We believe in flexibility, inclusion, and individuality. Every person is unique — and the opportunities we provide reflect that.
Our Flexible Days
At Thrive Together Aberdeen, no two days look the same — because no two people are the same.
Our sessions are thoughtfully structured yet intentionally flexible. Individuals can choose how they spend their time based on their interests, energy levels, and personal goals.
Activities are offered without pressure, balancing structure with choice throughout the day. Individuals may:
Move between activities
Take sensory or regulation breaks
Enjoy quiet time when needed
Participate in group or independent tasks
This flexible model builds confidence, supports independence, and promotes emotional wellbeing — ensuring everyone feels comfortable, valued, and in control of their day.
